Can you imagine?

As we prepare for the busiest season of the year, I pondered for a moment before writing this article and thought of how our lives would be if God had not sent Jesus, His only Begotten Son to the earth.

There would be no Christmas, or Christmas Eve, families would not have a reason to gather and celebrate; there would be no gifts exchanged or occasions for memorable events with our friends and loved ones…it’s the natural aspect of Christmas. 

Spiritually speaking, if God had not sent Jesus to the earth, there would be no faith, hope, healing or miracles.  We would have no one to learn from or guide us during times of uncertainty; we would be lacking a counselor to give us a piece of bread in times of need.

No one would teach us about love, meekness; please or how to extend our hand to help a person in need…..

The world would be a very dark, gloomy and lonely terrible place to live in where people would think only of themselves without a reason to celebrate, nothing to share, nothing to hope for…..except death.

It is important to recognize that Jesus is the center of our lives.  He is the One that brings light and salvation to us.  It’s because of Jesus, the Son of God that in our hearts there is faith, hope, healing, love and provision.  It was Jesus that provided for us eternal life, he is our Hope in Glory… hallelujah.

Therefore, this year take a few moments together with your family to reflect in the true meaning of Christmas and how our lives would be without Jesus……Can you imagine?
