"That all may be one"

The gospel according to St John 17:21 reminds us that Jesus prayed for unity.  It is time for every believer to enter into that unity required by our God, and for which Jesus prayed.  It is time for us to mutually lean on each other, during the good times and those not so good.  It is time for us to know, without a doubt, that we all need each other. 

We need mutual faith, yours and mine, so that together we can confront anything that comes our way and have the victory in Christ Jesus. 

Let me show you why I say this:  In the gospel according to St John 3:34, the Lord said that Jesus was given the Holy Spirit without limit.  He was more powerful than any demon in hell an all wicked spirits of all kinds, including Satan.  He could destroy all of Satan’s combined power.  Consider this:  We are the body of Christ and according to Romans 12:1-3; each one of us has been given a measure of faith.  That measure of faith is sufficient to supply our personal needs.  But this implies much more than our personal lives. 

We have a world to reach!  We are the generation of the end times.  We are powerful instruments on this earth.  We need all the help we can get.  But, thank God, we can all get the help we need. 

This help can only be attained in unity.  Ephesians 4:13 indicates that when we reach unity in the faith, we will have the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.  In other words, when the body of Christ unites and begins to function as one, we will have the Holy Spirit without measure, just like Jesus had it!  We will begin to see ministries functioning in the fullness of their calling.  We will begin to see manifestations of the Holy Spirit in complete fullness. We will see Jesus in His fullness like never before!  Then the world will know that God the father sent Him.

Begin today to offer the Holy Spirit your measure of faith.  Enter today in that fullness that will transform your life and the entire world. 

Strength is found in unity and the demons that oppose it cannot resist the force of unity.  Try it today and you will see the power of God manifested like never before!
